The Data Privacy Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all data privacy laws and regulations. This includes managing data protection policies, procedures, and processes, as well as training employees on data privacy best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures in compliance with laws and regulations
- Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with data privacy laws and regulations within the IT services provided by the company and related third party processes
- Train employees on data privacy best practices, including handling sensitive information and responding to data breaches
- Lead enterprise incident management process and test exercises
- Keep informed of new data privacy laws and regulations, and make recommendations for changes to the organization's policies and procedures
- Manage data breaches and incidents, and coordinate with appropriate parties, such as legal counsel and regulatory authorities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years of experience in legal, compliance, and data privacy
- IT or IT service industry experience
- Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams to translate requirements into practical solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
