Company Overview
A top leading international financial institution providing extensive services in corporate banking, wealth management, asset management, and insurance to clients worldwide is currently seeking a detailed-oriented and independent individual with strong communication and analytical skills. This individual will join the Financial Security team as an AML Advisory Officer to handle AML/ CFT/ Sanctions related activities and to provide support to the Head of Financial Security and KYC Compliance.
Job Requirements
- Provide advisory support, consistent review and application of AML/ CFT/ Sanctions laws, regulations, group policies, and guidelines
- Perform investigation and reporting of suspicious activities and transactions
- Provide support in assessing and advising AML/ CFT/ Sanctions analysis for highly sensitive clients (ex. oil & gas, nuclear, PEP, non-profitable organizations, embassies, etc)
- Handle AML/ CFT/ Sanctions related systems (ATOM, REGLISS, SHINE, etc), controls and risk assessments
- Provide support in AML/ CFT/ Sanctions training and enhancement of risk awareness in Hong Kong
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of AML/ CFT/ Sanctions and general knowledge of International Sanctions regimes especially in APAC
- Knowledge of debt capital markets, corporate finance and structured finance transactions preferred
- University graduate with qualifications in ICA Diploma of Compliance or AML, AML certifications (AAMLP/ CAMLP/ACAMS); Legal/ AML degree is highly preferred
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Legal or regulatory experience preferred
- Advisory experience is required
