Senior Corporate Paralegal - Growing Alternative Asset Manager
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to senior attorneys in matters related to corporate governance and other bespoke legal finance issues.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of SEC documents, including Form D, Form ADV, and other regulatory filings.
- Manage corporate governance matters, including board and committee meeting preparation, minutes, and resolutions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate legal issues.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external legal counsel on various legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on corporate matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and SEC compliance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management tools.
- Experience working in the financial services industry is a plus.
