The Real Estate Counsel will provide advice to the Development, Construction, Operations and M&A teams while also assisting with landowners and will ensure all legal regulations and company policies are complied with.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal expertise and support to the development, preparation, execution and administration of real estate documents for distributed solar generation and storage facilities
- Assist the CLO and AGC with developing, reviewing and recommending changes in legal aspects of real estate documents as needed
- Review pro forma title policies and land surveys and respond to real due diligence questions in connection with project financing
- Approve real estate documents for execution in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- JD
- 5-7 years in real estate handling title insurance, escrow, and power project legal matters including purchase and sale agreements, options, commercial land leases, easements, operating and administration agreements, financing documents, title insurance policies, genera liability policies and land surveys
- Licensed to Practice law in Texas, New York or Indiana
