Position Overview:
Our client seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate General Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting their real estate development initiatives and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, with a focus on transactions including acquisitions, financing, and dispositions.
Responsibilities:
* Provide legal counsel and support to various departments within the organization, particularly in real estate development matters.
* Lead and manage legal aspects of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, and dispositions. * Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to real estate transactions.
* Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for potential transactions and projects.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and other parties involved in transactions to ensure successful outcomes.
* Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting real estate development and transactions.
* Provide legal guidance and support on general corporate matters and other legal issues as needed.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
* 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, and dispositions.
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions from inception to completion.
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
