M&A Legal Counsel - Leading Fintech Firm, Singapore
My client is a leading and growing Fintech firm in Singapore and we are recruiting for a Legal Counsel to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all legal related matters in the region, and we are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.
Responsibilities for this M&A Legal Counsel - Leading Fintech Firm role -
- Deliver high standard legal support to the firm's business units
- Facilitate legal function in the Fintech industry
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology, corporate or commercial agreements to be entered into with clients, business partners, and vendors such as SaaS agreements, statements of works, joint venture agreements, collaboration agreements, and non-disclosure agreements
- Involvement with many internal functions to enable business and to mitigate and prevent legal risks by analysing proposed changes to determine impact
- Involvement in various corporate exercises including liaising with internal and external parties
- Any ad hoc projects in the legal counsel scope as required
Requirements for this M&A Legal Counsel - Leading Fintech Firm role -
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification
- Qualified Legal Counsel with at least 3 years of PQE from any jurisdiction
- Relevant legal experience and understanding in the investment banking or financial markets
- Strong knowledge and understanding of M&A and commercial transactions
