Chief Compliance Officer - Mortgages
Our client, a global Fin-Tech who specialize in Mortgage Securitization and Servicing is seeking to hire a Chief Compliance Officer to provide Compliance leadership and direction to firm. Reporting into the Board, the Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for building out and standing up a best-in-class Compliance function, working closely with senior business leaders to implement and drive a good Compliance culture. The firm, among others, Securitizes loans and also manage the full Loan Bidding process.
This will be a stand-alone role with a mandate to build a team as the firm grows.

- Providing specialist product and business Compliance Advice to key stakeholders and senior leaders in the business focusing among others, Controls as well as Policy & Procedures.
- Managing licensing requirements
- Provide specialist Compliance advice and guidance for loan acquisitions and securitization transactions
- Engagement with external regulators for regulatory approvals and requests for information
- Working closely with business leaders to implement regulatory initiatives.
- Running targeted risk assessments and developing Controls

- 10 years of relevant Compliance experience in Mortgages, either Consumer or Wholesale
- Excellent working knowledge of the regulations governing the Mortgage space.
- Experience of developing and implementing Policies and Procedures in the Mortgage space
