A growing biopharmaceutical company is looking to hire an Accounting Associate Director in Boston to help expand the accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, the Associate Director will work cross-functionally to implement process improvements and mentor the accounting staff.
Responsibilities:
- lead closing process & reporting
- Full cycle accounting & audit support
- Build relationships across departments to ensure company compliance with local, state, federal government requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred)
- 7+ years experience within accounting at a pharmaceutical/ biotech / life sciences environment
- Familar with requirements under SOX 404b
- Thrives on fast-paced & collaborative environment
