Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for an experienced Master Agreements Negotiator to join their team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in negotiating derivatives agreements in Asia, and be fluent in both Chinese and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating and drafting derivatives master agreements, including ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, for the bank's clients across Asia
- Providing legal advice and support on derivatives transactions to internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with business teams to understand client needs and objectives, and to develop appropriate legal solutions
- Keeping up-to-date with regulatory developments in the derivatives space, and advising the business accordingly
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in negotiating derivatives agreements
- Legal qualification is preferred
- Strong understanding of derivatives products and their associated risks
- Fluency in both Chinese and English
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
