The Intellectual Property Counsel will be responsible for:
- Managing the intellectual property portfolio and assisting with patent searching and identification.
- Overseeing patent preparation and prosecution for the Biotech Company.
- High visibility, working with senior business leaders, scientists and business teams to determine IP opportunities and manage the IP lifecycle.
- Advising, leading, and implementing IP strategy on a range of related intellectual property legal issues.
The Intellectual Property Counsel should have the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the Intellectual Property legal space.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to any state bar.
- Ph.D. or M.S. in chemistry or any small molecule related scientific background required.
- Candidates with in-house and/or law firm experience welcome.
