This attorney will focus on handling complex transactions, when in relation to licensing, commercial contracts, and more. This position is vital in helping the legal team complete successful strategic transactions, while working collaboratively with senior leadership and management across multiple departments. The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for:
- Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements for a wide range of corporate complex transactions, including licensing, supply, distribution, and confidentiality agreements.
- Counsel senior management on commercial and corporate matters when in relation to legal transactions and business development functions.
- Strategically advise and support executive clients and leadership on compliance/regulatory matters and risk management.
- Assist and guide other business units on overall corporate and commercial legal issues.
The Associate General Counsel should have the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to any state bar.
- 4+ years of experience as an attorney.
- Candidates with in-house and/or law firm experience welcome.
- Life Sciences industry experience preferred.
