We have partnered with an established tech company in the digital commerce and media space. This company owns a portfolio of organizations that drive technology, data, and insights to gain a competitive advantage in the industry. They are searching for a Contracts Lead to support the group in a variety of commercial contracts and report to the Director of Contracts. A successful candidate must be comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-pace environment and have 5 years of experience drafting, editing, and reviewing contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and edit a variety of commercial contracts including confidentiality agreements, insertion orders, procurement contracts, consulting agreements, marketing partner agreements, professional service agreements, and SAAS Agreements
- Help to manage contract lifecycle management system
- Support research and analysis requests from other legal colleagues, as well as M&A due diligence
- Respond to questions regarding contract interpretation and provide clear, concise, and thorough analysis and escalate to senior legal colleagues where appropriate.
- Manage and support of templates, policies, procedures, and various projects in support of the legal team's strategic goals and needs
- Delivery of contracting services to the business units in compliance with agreed service levels
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with technology and/or digital media contracts a plus
- Ability to work with a variety of business stakeholders across legal, finance, sales, and client services
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong drafting skills, with the ability to turn routine, standard commercial concepts into contractual language
- Experience working in a high volume contracts environment balancing speed with quality of output
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints and deadlines
- A high level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
- A team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Prior experience working within a CLM
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and Excel
- J.D. a plus
