The Fund Accountant will be responsible for:
- Managing the month-end close process and reviewing monthly Net Asset Value (NAV).
- Assessing complex investor allocations and Private Equity (PE) style waterfalls.
- Generating and analyzing various reports for management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Assessing and executing various internal control procedures.
- Supervising external administrators.
The Fund Accountant should have the following qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience at a public accounting firm in their financial services division, or direct experience at an asset management firm or fund administrator.
- Proficient in Excel, technically adept, and possess strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a solid academic record. General accounting knowledge is beneficial.
- CPA and/or CFA qualifications are advantageous.
