Senior Contract Manager

A leading healthcare product distributor is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to support and advance its contracting function. This highly visible role is responsible for managing complex commercial agreements that support the company's strategic and operational objectives. The Senior Contracts Manager will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and report directly to the Director of Legal Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a broad range of commercial agreements, including confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, master service agreements (MSAs), distribution agreements, purchase orders, and related documents.
  • Ensure all agreements accurately reflect negotiated business terms while safeguarding the company's legal and commercial interests.
  • Partner with Legal to develop, maintain, and continuously improve contract templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and alternative provisions.
  • Manage contracts and associated documentation throughout the full contract lifecycle using the company's contract management system.
  • Provide guidance on existing agreements, identify and clearly communicate contractual risks, and support issue resolution under attorney supervision.
  • Support contract operations by maintaining data integrity, auditing archived agreements, and overseeing legacy contract management.
  • Coordinate contract execution through electronic signature platforms and contribute to governance initiatives, process enhancements, and template updates in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related role.
  • Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts across the full contract lifecycle.
  • Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of MSFT Office (Outlook, Word, Excel,
    Teams), DocuSign, and Adobe
