Litigation Paralegal : On-site
Job Summary
My client is looking to hire a Litigation Paralegal with excellent communication skills and the ability to gather, organize, and manage complex information. As a member of the Legal department, this person will work closely with other team members and collaborate with internal stakeholders, engineering, product, and business groups to support all aspects of litigation and administrative proceedings.
Responsibilities Include
- Support all phases of litigation including preliminary investigation and research, discovery, pretrial and trial.
- Manage, organize, and maintain litigation related files.
- Use legal research platforms and databases to gather case and docket information.
- Collaborate with outside counsel on collection, preparation, and production of documents.
- Assist with calendaring and tracking case deadlines.
- Create and customize spreadsheets for collection and tracking of records and data.
- Coordinate with outside counsel, witnesses, and experts on various matters.
- Manage legal spend and case budgets.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of law or related field (completion of a certificate program in paralegal studies is a plus).
- 3+ years' experience supporting attorneys
- Experience researching case and docket information and managing discovery by utilizing e-discovery platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective organization of complex and voluminous data.
- Ability to shift priorities and handle multiple, competing tasks.
- Strong organization, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
