The Role
This position will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to in‑house counsel, with exposure to a broad range of matters typical of a utility and cooperative environment. The paralegal will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the legal function.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day paralegal support to the in‑house legal team
- Assist with contract drafting, review, organization, and tracking
- Maintain corporate records, legal files, and compliance documentation
- Support regulatory, governance, and transactional matters as needed
- Coordinate with internal departments and outside counsel
- Assist with research, filings, and general legal administration
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, ideally within an in‑house, law firm, or regulated industry environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced setting
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting contracts, corporate, regulatory, or commercial matters is a plus
