Company Summary
Our client is a well-established insurance organization seeking a Senior level Compliance Analyst to join its growing legal and compliance team. This individual will play a key role in supporting regulatory compliance initiatives, managing interactions with regulatory bodies, monitoring legislative developments, and partnering with business leaders across the organization. The position offers strong visibility, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to consumer complaints and regulatory inquiries from state insurance departments and other agencies
- Track, maintain, and update compliance records, logs, and reporting tools
- Monitor regulatory and legislative developments and assist with implementation of new requirements
- Support regulatory filings, registrations, and reporting obligations
- Coordinate responses for audits, examinations, surveys, and data calls
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and address compliance risks and regulatory concerns
- Assist with compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and process improvements
- Conduct research on insurance laws, regulations, and industry developments
- Help maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance efforts
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of compliance, regulatory, legal, or insurance-related experience
- Experience within the Property & Casualty insurance industry strongly preferred
- Prior experience handling consumer complaints or responding to regulatory inquiries
- Familiarity with Departments of Insurance, regulatory reporting, or compliance monitoring activities
- Experience supporting audits, examinations, investigations, or data calls
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and other reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fraud, claims compliance, or market conduct experience is a plus
