Trust & Estates Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Advise high‑net‑worth individuals, families, business owners, and family offices on advanced estate planning and multi‑generational wealth transfer strategies.
  • Draft and structure sophisticated planning vehicles, including GST‑planned trusts, GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, and other advanced irrevocable trust structures.
  • Manage estate planning matters from start to finish, including client meetings, strategy development, and implementation of complex planning instruments.
  • Handle post‑mortem trust and estate administration, including probate matters, asset allocation, trust funding, and fiduciary guidance.
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Forms 706, 709, and 1041).
  • Maintain current knowledge of estate, gift, GST, and fiduciary income tax developments and contribute to internal and external thought leadership.

Trust & Estates Attorney Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of trusts & estates experience, with a strong background advising high‑net‑worth or ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Significant experience managing complex estate planning matters and drafting sophisticated wealth transfer instruments.
