Overview

A leading national labor and employment law practice is seeking an experienced attorney to join its innovative, technology-enabled service model as Employment Counsel - EEOC Charges. This fully remote position is available to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to handle meaningful, high-impact work in a collaborative environment-without traditional law firm demands such as business development or extensive travel.

Compensation

Pursuant to applicable regulations, the expected salary range for this role is $130,000 - $165,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. The position is also eligible for performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

Attorneys in this role are responsible for managing and defending administrative agency charges and related matters from initial intake through resolution. Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting persuasive position statements
  • Responding to agency requests for information and investigations
  • Managing communications with clients and administrative agencies
  • Representing clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations
  • Handling attorney demand letters and pre-litigation matters

This role emphasizes high-quality legal work supported by advanced technology and streamlined workflows.

Work Structure

  • Full-time, fully remote position

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of employment law experience
  • Strong experience handling administrative agency charges (federal and/or state level), ideally on the management side
  • Proven ability to draft effective position statements and represent clients in hearings or mediations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Active bar license in the state of residence
  • Strong academic credentials
