About the Team
The Corporate team advises a broad range of clients, including multinational corporates, private equity investors, founder-led businesses, and high-growth companies.
The work is varied and includes:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Private Equity transactions
- Venture Capital investments
- Equity Capital Markets matters
- Joint ventures
- Restructurings
- General corporate advisory work
One of the major attractions of the team is the breadth of the work on offer. Associates are exposed to the full lifecycle of transactions and are encouraged to take ownership of matters from an early stage.
The team is particularly active within the Real Estate, Energy, Infrastructure, and Financial Services sectors and regularly works alongside colleagues in other jurisdictions on international transactions.
About the Role
This role would suit somebody who is keen to develop into a well-rounded corporate lawyer and gain exposure to larger and more complex transactions.
You'll work closely with partners and senior associates while taking an active role in running matters, managing client relationships, and driving transactions forward. The team places a genuine emphasis on associate development and provides opportunities to become involved in business development, thought leadership, and mentoring junior lawyers.
Alongside transactional work, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Build long-term client relationships
- Take part in business development initiatives and pitches
- Work directly with clients across a range of sectors
- Mentor trainees and junior lawyers
- Develop your own profile within the market

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with lawyers who can demonstrate:
- Between 1 and 5 years' PQE within a Corporate team
- Solid transactional experience, ideally covering M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or general corporate work
- Strong drafting and technical skills
- Good commercial judgement and business awareness
- The ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A strong academic background
- A proactive and ambitious approach to career development
Candidates from leading City, international, US, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, or other well-regarded corporate practices are encouraged to apply.
