An AmLaw 200 national law firm is seeking a Complex Litigation Associate to join its growing, nationally integrated litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes matters alongside experienced trial attorneys while gaining meaningful client exposure early in your career. Complex Litigation Associate/Counsel Responsibilities
- Support attorneys on complex commercial and civil litigation matters across a national platform
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients and contribute to case strategy
- Manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Complex Litigation Associate/Counsel Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- 2+ years of legal experience
- Prior litigation experience is required, preferably within a law firm setting
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a national team
- Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership (or eligibility for admission) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
