Our clients are looking for an accomplished Complex Litigation Associate to join their team. This role is ideal for an attorney with a background in defending matters involving general liability, personal injury, transportation claims, or high-exposure catastrophic cases. You'll work with nationally recognized clients and gain significant responsibility early on, paired with meaningful opportunities for courtroom and hands‑on litigation experience.
Complex Litigation Associate Responsibilities
- Oversee and drive a varied docket of litigation matters from initial intake through final resolution
- Collaborate closely with partners and team members in a supportive, collegial environment
- Manage all phases of litigation, including fact investigation, depositions, motion practice, mediations, court appearances, and trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients to provide strategic updates, risk assessments, and thoughtful case recommendations
Complex Litigation Associate Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Active license to practice in your state of residence
- 3-8 years of experience in defense litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong professional presence
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and navigate complex legal issues
- Experience handling cases independently in a fast-paced practice setting
- Knowledge of legal project management principles is a plus
