The Opportunity
Our client seeks a Complex Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury defense. This position provides hands-on litigation work, exposure to major national clients, and early responsibility in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a varied caseload from inception through resolution
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice groups
- Handle all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial prep
- Deliver timely case assessments and strategic recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted in New York
- 3-8 years of defense litigation experience in relevant practice areas
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage complex matters and client relationships
- Experience with legal project management is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $150,000-$190,000 (commensurate with experience)
This full-time role includes eligibility for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and generous PTO.
