My client is a leading and growing Leading Financial Services firm and we are recruiting for a Legal Counsel to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business' growing portfolio of infrastructure and financing initiatives. This role will focus on project finance transactions.
Responsibilities for this Legal Counsel - Project Financing
- Advise on structuring, negotiating, and executing project finance and structured finance transactions, including syndicated loans, securitizations, and digital infrastructure financing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents, security packages, and commercial contracts
- Support regulatory compliance and licensing matters across multiple Southeast Asian jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, product, compliance, operations) and external counsel to manage legal risk and ensure deal execution.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as regulatory bodies on legal and compliance issues
Requirements for this Legal Counsel - Project Financing
- Qualified lawyer in Singapore or a common law jurisdiction.
- 3 - 7 years PQE in project finance, banking & finance, or structured finance
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Able to prioritize and respond well to changing circumstances and tight timelines
