Litigation Attorney
A growing client is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its expanding Las Vegas or Reno Nevada office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to gain significant hands-on litigation and trial experience while working alongside experienced partners in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation and a desire to take on meaningful responsibility from day one. Attorneys in this role will play an active part in all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and courtroom appearances.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 year of litigation experience
- Active and good standing Nevada Bar license
- Experience handling motions, depositions, and trial preparation
- Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practice environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials preferred
What You'll Do
- Manage and support a diverse litigation caseload
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients on complex litigation matters
- Assist with all aspects of trial preparation and litigation management
- Develop client relationships while gaining substantive courtroom experience
