The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join their team in Greensboro, NC. This is an in-office position supporting the General Counsel and serving as a key member of a growing legal department. The role offers broad exposure to litigation, real estate, corporate compliance, and legal operations while working closely with company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide litigation support, including managing pleadings, discovery, and evidence collection.
- Maintain and organize legal department filing systems and records.
- Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, real estate, and corporate matters.
- Manage business licensure requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Review, track, and process outside counsel invoices.
- Prepare and manage certificates of insurance and renewals.
- Draft routine legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision.
- Act as a liaison between the legal department, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Prior in-house legal experience preferred.
- Experience supporting litigation matters, corporate governance, and real estate transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing legal records, compliance documentation, and licensing requirements.
- Proficiency with legal research, document management, and legal department operations.
