Leading REIT - Real Estate Transactional Counsel
A leading national REIT focused on healthcare‑related assets is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Counsel to support its growing portfolio. This role partners closely with the General Counsel and senior leadership to drive real estate transactions, support operational initiatives across medical office and senior housing properties, and help navigate an evolving regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and other real estate transactions across a multi‑state healthcare portfolio.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including purchase and sale contracts, leasing documents, vendor agreements, and compliance‑related materials.
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting real estate, healthcare operations, and REIT‑related structures; assess implications for internal processes.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with stakeholders, outside counsel and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- J.D. and 5+ years of experience in real estate transactions; healthcare, REIT, and senior housing experience preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate complex legal concepts to internal stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally within the organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities across documentation, diligence, and compliance workflows.
