Corporate Counsel at Data Center (German fluency required)
Our client is an international Data Center Company that is continuing to scale their global footprint. This company is looking to hire a mid-level Commercial focused Counsel to support a wide variety of customer facing and sales focused contracts with customers in Germany and across EMEA.
This role is fully remote and can sit in the US (eastern time zone) or in Europe. Fluency in German is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of colocation agreements with customers
- Review and negotiate a variety of other commercial agreements (MSAs, vendor contracts, real estate contracts, leasing, etc.) and ensure business and compliance needs are reflected
- Advise vendors, clients, internal teams, and corporate affiliates globally
- Improve and implement contract procedures and templates
- Assist with routine corporate documentation
Requirements:
- JD (or equivalent) and active bar license
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience
- Specific data center experience and the handling of colocation agreements is strongly preferred
