As Assistant General Counsel, you'll be a key advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors, helping to shape the future of a global enterprise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on legal risks and supporting strategic business initiatives.
- Providing commercial legal counsel to senior executives and the Board.
- Leading contract review, negotiation, and drafting.
- Managing external counsel and overseeing litigation.
- Supporting M&A activities, including due diligence and negotiations.
- Advising on employment law and compliance matters.
- Championing technology and innovation in legal operations.
- Participating in corporate compliance and policy development.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with a state bar.
- 8+ years of legal experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role, or 10+ years as a corporate/staff attorney.
- Strong background in corporate or employment law.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
