Senior Contract Administrator
We are currently partnered with a major manufacturer in the defense industryvlooking for a Senior Contracts Administrator on a permanent basis. The position will be based in the northwestern suburbs of Boston. For further information about this position please apply.
Here is a quick rundown of the role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor major government contracts
- Negotiate and manage agreements with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Review and interpret contract terms, amendments, and modifications
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and government regulations
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and contract documentation
- Support export license applications and subcontract management
- Draft and negotiate various agreements (teaming, MOUs, consultant, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government contracting processes
- Experience with various contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.)
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, administration, and compliance
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- NCMA membership and CPCM certification preferred
- U.S. Citizenship required
