A nationally recognized employment law firm is seeking an Employment Special Counsel with 8+ years of employment litigation experience to join its team. This full‑time, fully remote position focuses exclusively on EPLI matters, offering the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients across diverse industries. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of EPLI matters from inception through resolution.
- Defend employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other workplace‑related disputes.
- Handle all aspects of employment litigation including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and co‑counsel regarding case strategy, exposure analysis, and matter status.
- Collaborate with attorneys nationwide in a highly experienced, well‑resourced employment litigation practice.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive client and firm information.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active license to practice in the candidate's state of residence.
- Minimum of 8 years of employment litigation experience, preferably including EPLI work.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to independently manage complex cases.
- Excellent litigation judgment, strategic thinking, and client‑service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining high responsiveness and professionalism.
