Position: Trade Compliance of Futures
Location: Beijing, China
Role Overview:
The Trade Compliance of Futures will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and managing trade risk associated with futures trading. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of trade risk management in a quant fund setting, along with specific knowledge of futures exchanges and regulatory authorities in China.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive trade compliance policies and procedures for futures trading activities.
- Monitor and assess regulatory changes and updates related to futures trading in China, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head of Risk to establish and maintain effective trade risk management frameworks and controls.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of trading activities to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal risk limits and guidelines.
- Provide expert guidance and support on trade compliance matters, answering inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the understanding of trade compliance policies and procedures among relevant staff members.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in trade compliance, proposing and implementing improvements to existing processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, exchanges, and other relevant industry bodies in China.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in trade risk and compliance, ideally within a quant fund or similar financial institution.
- In-depth knowledge of futures exchanges and regulatory authorities in China.
- Strong understanding of trade compliance principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and controls in a trading environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and propose effective solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
