A nationally recognized labor & employment law firm is seeking a Traditional Labor Associate with 2-8 years of experience to join its expanding team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with industry‑leading labor partners on collective bargaining, union campaigns, and complex labor relations matters for major employers.
Hybrid positions available in major U.S. markets, with additional on‑site opportunities in Portland, OR and Northern California
Key Responsibilities
- Represent employers in collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, and grievance handling.
- Support clients during union campaigns and unfair labor practice investigations.
- Handle matters before the NLRB and state labor agencies.
- Counsel employers on labor relations strategy, contract administration, and compliance.
- Conduct legal research, prepare filings, and draft memoranda on labor topics.
- Engage directly with clients in highly collaborative, partner‑focused teams.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- 2-8 years of Traditional Labor experience, including NLRB, bargaining, arbitration, or union campaign work.
- Employment litigation experience is a plus (not required for all roles).
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Client‑service orientation and ability to handle a diverse labor relations caseload.
- Must be licensed in the state where you reside.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation with base salaries generally ranging $175,000 - $365,000+, depending on location and experience.
