Senior Real Estate Paralegal
Overview
Provide legal and transactional support to senior legal leadership, with a focus on commercial contracting, and real estate related matters. Assist with a variety of business initiatives, transactions, and legal operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute commercial real estate transactions, business transactions, and related legal department projects.
- Draft, revise, and organize agreements, including confidentiality, licensing, and other commercial contracts.
- Assist with transaction closings by coordinating due diligence, corporate filings, lien searches, execution logistics, and closing deliverables.
- Track deal milestones, maintain closing checklists, and manage outstanding action items.
- Prepare and maintain corporate records, entity formation documents, governance materials, resolutions, and related records.
- Oversee legal databases, templates, contract repositories, and document management systems.
- Partner with outside counsel, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on various legal matters.
Desired Background
- 5+ years of experience supporting corporate, transactional, or real estate legal work within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Familiarity with mergers, financings, governance matters, and property-related transactions preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certification is a plus.
