Senior Counsel - Healthcare
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Advise on health care regulatory compliance, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and state-specific regulations.
- Conduct due diligence for health care transactions and identify regulatory risks.
- Collaborate with internal business units to structure transactions that align with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor changes in health care laws and regulations and provide proactive guidance to leadership.
- Support corporate governance and assist with internal policy development related to health care compliance.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active license in good standing.
- 5+ years of experience in transactional law with a focus on health care regulatory matters.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state health care regulations and experience advising on compliance issues.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
