Senior Counsel
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Attorney to support our legal and transactional real estate operations. This role focuses on advising clients, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with real estate laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, leasing, zoning, and land use.
Key Responsibilites:
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and financing documents.
- Conduct due diligence for property transactions, including title and survey reviews, and coordination with title companies.
- Advise clients on zoning, land use, easements, and property development matters.
- Assist with real estate closings and coordinate with lenders, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
- Provide legal support for property acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities.
- Monitor changes in real estate law and provide updates and guidance to internal teams or clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactional work.
- Strong understanding of property law, contract law, and real estate finance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
