Overview
An international law firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant to join its Litigation & Regulatory team in Munich. This role is essential to ensuring smooth administrative and operational processes within a dynamic legal environment. The successful candidate will support attorneys and the wider team in managing complex cases and regulatory matters, contributing to the firm's high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Manage client files and case documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and handle business correspondence, including drafting letters and emails.
- Assist with invoice preparation and billing processes.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, hearings, and internal meetings.
Document & Deadline Management:
- Maintain organized filing systems for physical and electronic documents.
- Monitor and track deadlines to ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
- Support document review and preparation for litigation and regulatory matters.
Coordination & Logistics:
- Organize business travel arrangements for attorneys and team members.
- Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and coordinate logistics for events and conferences.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding scheduling and administrative queries.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completed vocational training as a Legal Assistant or equivalent qualification.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and proactive work approach.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding written and spoken German; good command of English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
