About the Role
A reputable packaging and supply chain company is seeking a Paralegal with strong experience in contract management to join their legal team. This position will play a key role in supporting business operations by drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contracts, ensuring compliance, and assisting with legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and service agreements.
- Maintain and organize contract databases and ensure timely renewals and compliance tracking.
- Assist in negotiating contract terms under attorney supervision.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries as needed.
- Support internal stakeholders with contract-related inquiries and provide guidance on company policies.
- Coordinate with external counsel when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree; Paralegal certification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal, or experience with a focus on contract drafting and management.
- Experience in corporate or in-house legal departments preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract law and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
