Manager, Contracts
We are partnered with a rapidly growing biotech org. that offers the chance to join a small, collaborative legal team during a pivotal phase of commercial expansion and make a meaningful impact on the patients and families the company serves.
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager, Contracts to oversee and enhance the company's contracting process. This role will support commercial, clinical, medical affairs, finance, and legal teams while helping streamline contract operations within a scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial, clinical, and operational agreements under attorney supervision.
- Manage full contract lifecycle, including intake, tracking, reporting, signatures, and compliance with internal controls.
- Coordinate contract requests with internal partners and external vendors, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Support the development of templates, policies, and contracting tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Partner with the legal team to refine templates, update policies, and implement improved contracting processes.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; attorneys and paralegals encouraged to apply.
- 4-6 years of in‑house contracting experience; life sciences experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with contract management software is a plus.
