About the Role
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm with a nationally recognized labor & employment practice, is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-8 years of litigation experience to join the Orlando office. Candidates with substantial L&E experience are strongly preferred, and experience with unfair competition, restrictive covenants, and trade‑secret litigation is considered a valuable plus.
The ideal candidate will bring strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and meaningful hands‑on litigation experience, including depositions, motion practice, hearings, and complex case management.
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Florida.
This is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work closely with a respected L&E team handling sophisticated employer‑side matters.

Responsibilities
- Represent employers in federal and state courts across a wide range of labor & employment matters
- Handle litigation tasks such as drafting pleadings, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and hearings
- Advise clients on employment‑law compliance, risk mitigation, and day‑to‑day workplace issues
- Support matters involving unfair competition, restrictive covenants, and trade‑secret disputes
- Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on high‑impact litigation
- Maintain a commitment to excellent client service in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented practice
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3-8 years of relevant litigation experience
- Labor & employment experience strongly preferred
- Experience with unfair competition or trade‑secrets work is a plus
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Florida Bar admission required
