In-House Legal Counsel - Litigation
Location: On‑site, Midwest
We are seeking a Litigation Counsel to join a highly experienced in‑house legal team supporting a leading U.S. industrial and aerospace organization. This role is fully embedded within the business, partnering directly with senior operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a broad litigation portfolio, including product liability, complex commercial disputes, and UCC Article 2 / warranties matters.
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to senior functional leadership.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams in an environment where attorneys sit directly with business clients.
- Contribute to long‑term succession planning as senior litigators transition in the coming years.
What We're Looking For
Candidates must bring strength in one of the following core areas:
- Product liability litigation, or
- Complex commercial/business litigation, or
- Aviation‑related legal experience
Ideal experience range: 7-15 years.
