Position Overview:
We are seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Associate Attorney with strong experience in healthcare law and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will provide counsel on federal and state healthcare regulations, including fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Medicare/Medicaid compliance. This role involves advising clients on regulatory aspects of transactions, audits, and enforcement actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise healthcare clients on compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Draft and review agreements related to healthcare transactions.
  • Conduct regulatory due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Assist with internal investigations and respond to government inquiries.
  • Stay current on developments in healthcare law and policy.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in Tennessee or Washington, D.C. (additional jurisdictions a plus).
  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory law at a law firm or in-house.
  • Strong knowledge of fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, Stark Law, and related regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with healthcare transactions and compliance programs.
  • Experience with government investigations or enforcement actions.
