The General Counsel will be responsible for:
- Advising leadership on legal and strategic matters.
- Draft and negotiate commercial and service agreements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data laws.
- Support licensing, governance, and risk oversight.
- Lead privacy and date protection efforts.
- Manage legal budgets and outside counsel.
- Counsel on internal policies and employment matters.
- Maintain legal processes, policies, and documentation.
The General Counsel should have the following qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school; active license in the state of Texas.
- 8-10 years of legal experience, preferably with law firm and in-house counsel positions.
- Strong background in contract law, healthcare, pharmacy, and telemedicine law.
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and M&A.
