The General Counsel will be responsible for:

  • Advising leadership on legal and strategic matters.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data laws.
  • Support licensing, governance, and risk oversight.
  • Lead privacy and date protection efforts.
  • Manage legal budgets and outside counsel.
  • Counsel on internal policies and employment matters.
  • Maintain legal processes, policies, and documentation.

The General Counsel should have the following qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; active license in the state of Texas.
  • 8-10 years of legal experience, preferably with law firm and in-house counsel positions.
  • Strong background in contract law, healthcare, pharmacy, and telemedicine law.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and M&A.
