A top-tier law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its California offices (Los Angeles, Santa Monica, or San Diego). This is a strong opportunity to work on a blend of employment litigation and counseling matters, supporting innovative clients while gaining exposure to sophisticated workplace issues and high-impact disputes.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
* Manage all phases of litigation, including case development, discovery, witness interviews, and motion practice.
* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda.
* Advise clients on employment policies, compliance, and employment-related agreements.
* Support investigations and help develop case strategy across a range of employment matters.
Key Qualifications
* J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
* Admission to the California Bar.
* 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation and/or counseling.
* Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple matters and work both independently and collaboratively.
* High level of initiative, organization, and attention to detail.
