A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Employment Litigation Associate to join its Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded team handling complex, high-impact employment matters for sophisticated clients across a variety of industries.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of substantive litigation experience, with a strong preference for those who have focused on labor and employment law. Exposure to unfair competition, restrictive covenants, and trade secrets litigation is a plus. This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to contribute at every stage of litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Advise clients on employment-related disputes, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with a high-performing team on complex employment litigation matters
- Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-8 years of strong litigation experience in a law firm environment
- Labor and employment law experience strongly preferred
- Experience with unfair competition and trade secrets matters is a plus
- Excellent academic credentials and superior research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Admission to the Florida Bar required
