Corporate Paralegal - Real Estate Investment Platform

About the Role

The Paralegal will support the legal and compliance functions of a growing real estate investment platform, working closely with the Associate Counsel on a wide range of fund-related legal matters. This is a highly dynamic, cross-functional role offering exposure to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, investor documentation, and real estate fund operations. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of projects while partnering with teams across accounting, investor relations, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, file, and maintain corporate, compliance, and governance documents across multiple entities

  • Track and manage regulatory filings and compliance requirements, including Secretary of State, USCIS, SEC, FINRA, and state-level submissions

  • Prepare and support legal documentation related to real estate funds, including loan documentation and asset management materials

  • Draft, review, and maintain commercial agreements, including NDAs, referral agreements, service agreements, marketing agreements, broker/dealer contracts, and private offering documents

  • Support investor-related legal processes, including onboarding/offboarding documentation, side letters, loan agreements, and fund disbursement materials

  • Draft and review investor communications, including updates, reports, and formal correspondence

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred
  • 3+ years of legal and/or compliance experience within a law firm, investment firm, real estate platform, private equity, or financial services organization
  • Experience supporting corporate governance, compliance tracking, and regulatory filings
  • Familiarity with fund formation, real estate transactions, or investment management structures is highly preferred
