The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support contract management activities across a portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects. This role will work closely with project management, procurement, legal, and operations teams to help manage contracts from drafting through execution and project completion.
This position can be based in Columbus, OH or Tulsa, OK.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, amend, and track customer contracts and subcontracts.
- Manage contract redlines and coordinate document execution through DocuSign.
- Draft notices, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Support project teams in meeting contractual and risk management requirements.
- Review certificates of insurance, lien waivers, and related documentation.
- Maintain contract repositories, trackers, and workflow records.
- Partner with legal, procurement, and operations teams to improve contract processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in contracts administration, procurement, paralegal support, or a related field.
- Understanding of commercial contract terms, including indemnity, insurance, payment terms, and change orders.
- Experience with Microsoft Word Track Changes and DocuSign.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, utility, or EPC environments is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred.
