Our client, an established, nationally recognized defense litigation firm with 1,400+ attorneys across 43 offices, is seeking a Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to work with one major corporate client as part of a nationally distributed team. This structure offers greater remote flexibility while still providing the stability and collaboration of a top-tier firm.

Because you'll work closely with a single client's legal and business teams, this role offers exceptional client face time, strategic involvement, and the type of relationship‑building experience that becomes invaluable for attorneys considering an eventual move in‑house.

The Opportunity

You'll handle a sophisticated docket involving general liability, transportation, personal injury, and catastrophic injury matters, with meaningful responsibility and national exposure from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cases independently from inception through resolution
  • Collaborate with partners and teams across multiple offices nationwide
  • Conduct depositions, investigations, motion practice, mediations, and trial prep
  • Provide strategic, timely updates directly to the client's legal and business teams

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active New York bar admission
  • 3-8 years of defense litigation experience
  • Strong writing, advocacy, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex, high-volume matters confidently

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $150,000-$190,000 + discretionary bonuses
