A leading national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing Los Angeles litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated disputes for local, national, and international clients across a broad range of industries.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of litigation experience, preferably involving commercial disputes, consumer class actions, financial services litigation, media and entertainment matters, and/or product liability litigation. The role offers significant client exposure and opportunities to work on complex matters in both state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle complex commercial litigation matters through all phases of litigation.
* Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive court filings.
* Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in coordination with partners and clients.
* Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
* Represent clients in state and federal courts and assist with appellate matters when needed.
Key Qualifications
* J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
* Active California Bar membership.
* 4-6 years of litigation experience.
* Experience with commercial litigation, consumer class actions, financial services disputes, media and entertainment litigation, or product liability matters preferred.
* Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits
* Salary Range: $230,000 to $305,000 depending on experience and overall qualifications.
