About the Opportunity
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This opportunity offers hands-on litigation experience, meaningful client interaction, and the ability to work on sophisticated matters across a broad range of disputes. Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution with appropriate supervision based on experience level.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and case analyses.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Attend and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and risk assessment.
- Negotiate settlements and assist with dispute resolution efforts.
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups in a team-oriented environment.
- Assist with trial preparation, witness preparation, and case management activities.
- Maintain accurate case files and meet litigation deadlines.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Bar license in good standing.
- 3+ years of litigation experience.
- Experience drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.
- Deposition and motion practice experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple competing priorities.
- Strong client-service mindset and relationship-building skills.
- Trial experience is a plus but not required.
